Who Am I?
My name is Caleb Lopez. I’m an aircraft mechanic and private pilot from NE Ohio answering the call that God put on my heart to serve Him in whatever capacity He sees fit.
I grew up in a Christian household and had accepted Christ into my life at an early age. I received the call in missions work when I was 7. I had Godly mentors through the Church and in Royal Rangers (a camping ministry for boys).
God opened up the door to serve on short term missions trips in Cambodia, Thailand, and India. This only reinforced the calling that I follow.
I attended SMAT (School of Missionary Aviation Technology) to get my aircraft mechanic license. In searching for maintenance experience out of school, I came in contact with Compass Aviation.
I now serve with Compass Aviation; working in the maintenance shop and sharing what I’ve learned with less experienced candidates. I earned my Private Pilot license and I’m getting close to having my Instrument rating as well (allowing me to fly in the clouds). After that I’ll be getting my Commercial license, as required to serve overseas.
I am hoping to also use music in conjunction with my involvement in aviation ministry to reach lost people for Christ. While I serve stateside, I’m sharing music with churches and my YouTube followers (Every Tribe Studios).
